Trainee Presentations
All trainees are required to attend a minimum of five review meetings (in person or by teleconference) per year. Each trainee is required to present material at least twice per year for each year of supervised training (ie. a minimum of eight (8) presentations). Two or three presentations are usually given at each meeting. Presentations are usually 15 to 20 minutes in duration, followed by discussion and feedback, depending on the nature of the case. It is the responsibility of trainees to ensure that they have met the requirements concerning attendance and presentation. Trainees are expected to list their presentations in each 6 monthly report and indicate which competencies they cover. The presentations are separated into standard presentations and Remote Area Teleconference Presentations (RATS).
