Check List For Applicants
To be eligible to apply to become a Trainee of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine you must answer the following questions:
- Are you registered in Australia or New Zealand as a Medical Practitioner?
Yes or No - Have you completed at least three years of general clinical experience?
Yes or No - Are you currently working in occupational medicine for at least 10 hours per week?
Yes or No - Do you intend to complete the requirements of the training program within ten years?
Yes or No - Have you completed an appropriate post graduate qualification?
Yes No
If yes to all, you have met the Entry Criteria and may apply.
To apply:
- Print the Training Application
- Attach certified copies of your qualifications. Please DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS
- Attach a certified copy of your current registration certificate
- Include the non refundable application fee of AUD$250, plus the subscription fee of $600. If paying by cheque they should be made payable to AFOEM
- Arrange for the Regional Director of Training (Censor) to nominate a Mentor and complete Section 7.
