How to Apply
Enrolment Enquiries
In order to enter the Faculty training program an applicant must:
- be a registered Medical Practitioner;
- have completed at least three years of postgraduate general clinical experience;
- have completed an appropriate post graduate course at diploma level or above in occupational medicine or a related field deemed appropriate by AFOEM;
- be working in an occupational and environmental medicine position for at least 10 hours a week.
You will need to email afoem@racp.edu.au or phone the Faculty Office 02 8247 6220 to obtain contact details for the Director of Training in your state, who will advise you whether any previous academic course could be counted as appropriate, (in which case enrolment in either January or June may be possible), or which courses should be considered.
