Annual Training Meetings
At around about the same time as the AFOEM Annual Scientific Meetings, the Australasian Faculty of Occupational & Environmental Medicine have historically organised a full-day program designed for Trainees and Fellows for furthering specific skills in OEM.The Annual Training Meeting (or commonly referred to as the ATM) is organised by the AFOEM Regional Committee that the ATM will be held in.
What Is Planned For 2010?
The Faculty will be holding two separate "training" events across the weekend of Saturday 20 - Sunday 21, March 2010.

Note: All AFOEM members are encouraged to register. The FTD will include presentations for the 2010 Ramazzini Award, Annual Members Meeting, and a Supervisor Workshop. Supervisors and DoTs attending the Supervisor Workshop on Sunday 21, March 2010 are eligible for complimentary registration for the FTD.
Cost: $93.50 (inclusive of GST)

Fellow MOPs/CPD points: 3/hr

Registration for the Annual Training Meeting and the Faculty Training Day is separate to the WCIM 2010 (including the 2010 AFOEM ASM). All payments for the the ATM and FTD must be made via GTH Events.

Note: Supervisors and Regional Directors of Training attending the Supervisor Workshop on Sunday 21, March 2010 (which is part of the FTD) will receive complimentary registration for the 2010 FTD. Ramazzini Presentations
Traditionally, Ramazzini Presentations are made during the AFOEM Annual Scientific Meeting. However this year, trainee presentations for the Ramazzini Award will be held at the Faculty Training Day (Sunday 21, March 2010). There are ten presenters for the award (detailed below). Pending approval from the respective authors, presentations will be available for viewing within the AFOEM members section two weeks after the event.

I am currently not an AFOEM Trainee, however I am interested in entering the Training Program. Is it possible to register for the 2010 Annual Training Meeting?
At the moment, we are unable to provide registration to individuals who have not applied for admission into the AFOEM Training Program. Applicants who have applied for the July 2010 intake and existing traineesare eligible.
I am a Fellow of the Faculty. May I attend the Annual Training Meeting?
Due to venue capacity and targeted audience material, the 2010 Annual Training Meeting is available to trainees and DoTs only.
I am a supervisor for a trainee who will be commencing the training program in July 2010. Am I eligible for complimentary registration for the Faculty Training Day?
Yes. For catering purposes, please proceed with the normal registration process. however, you will not be required to pay for the cost of the FTD.
As an AFOEM Trainee intending to attend all three events, what is required in terms of completing the registration form?
Tick all three boxes to indicate your attendance at all three events. If you are bringing a guest to the dinner, indicate accordingly in the field provided on the form. The Annual Training Meeting (Saturday) fee includes registration for the Faculty Training Day (Sunday).
As a Faculty member, am I eligible for travel and/or accommodation reimbursements?
No. All registrants must arrange and pay for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
When is the registration deadline for the ATM/FTD?
All registration must be received by Wednesday 10, March 2010.
